Is Your Partner Pregnant?

You are not alone, as you and your partner face a potential pregnancy. You are stronger than you know. Your partner needs your support now more than ever.

Do your best to provide your partner with the emotional and physical support she needs. Men need help, too. It’s just as important to receive the same support for yourself. We can help.

Talk to Someone You Trust

It’s important that as you go about this unplanned pregnancy journey, you talk through your emotions and questions with someone you trust. This could be a friend, mentor, or one of our client advocates at Oasis Women’s Services.

We’re here to provide a safe place to talk through your own challenges, concerns, and how to support your partner. Reaching out for support is one of the bravest steps you can take. You don’t have to do this by yourself.

How to Support Your Partner

After confiding in someone, it’s important to support your partner right now as she navigates this challenging time. Here are some tips:

  • Talk with her and listen to her. Keep the lines of communication open between the two of you at all times.
  • Talk with the people who care. In addition to keeping the lines of communication open between the two of you, it’s important to discuss the situation with parents and others who’ll be directly affected. Keeping this a secret will only add to the stress – yours and hers.
  • Educate yourself. Collect information and seek advice from people you trust.
  • Be honest with her and yourself. Own and share at all times how you feel. You’ll be surprised at how much it will help her to know that you share the same concerns.

No-Cost Pregnancy Services

Before you and your partner make a pregnancy decision, confirm your pregnancy with our no-cost and confidential pregnancy testing and ultrasound to verify your pregnancy and gather important details.

Once your partner has confirmed her pregnancy, we offer no-cost education on all your pregnancy options.

Parenting Resources

If you do decide to parent, we offer no-cost parenting classes, designed for all expecting moms and dads to provide the basic fundamentals of parenting. Pregnancy, childbirth, child development, parenting skills, and more are the focus of these sessions.
